Fans anticipating the release of Foxy Brown's new album, Ill Na Na 2: The Fever, will wait a little longer.

On Wednesday's broadcast of The Wendy Williams Show in New York, Foxy explained that her album has been shelved (pushed back) indefinitely. She admitted to Wendy Williams that her album was supposed to drop in May, but that Def Jam/Bad Boy Records, who are 50/50 owners of her contract, have shelved the project because Foxy and P. Diddy could not agree on the contractual terms.

Foxy also told Wendy that she asked Def Jam CEO Lyor Cohen to let her out of her recording contract. "His response was, 'Over my dead body am I letting you go. You're stuck.' Verbatim. And I called him a devil and he hung up on me."

In addition to that, Foxy let it all out about her relationship with P. Diddy, Eve, Kurupt, Jay-Z, Nas, and a host of others situations ranging from her miscarriage to who took her virginity.

Some of the interview highlights include:

- her feelings about Irv Gotti. "...Irv Gotti to me is the biggest rise & fall of Hip-Hop history. it's sad but that's karma..."
- the discussion of the miscarriage with her boyfriend Spragga Benz.
- her first sexual experience.
- the truth behind her beef with Eve. "...It has nothing to do with music...the reason why Kurupt ever found out about anything about DMX having a crush or liking me, was through her...DMX and I never had anything..."
- her discussions with Def Jam about who is falling off on the label. "They [Def Jam] told me clearly, 'Ja's over, X is damn near on his way out, and Jay-Z is trying hard to get a comeback. Those are their words."
- her desire to sign with Dr. Dre / Aftermath. "To me, like 50 Cent, he [Dr. Dre] lets his artist live."
- her nickname for Nas. "I call him King Cobra. AZ and I have always gave him that nickname because Nas is very slithery..."

Blu Cantrell will be on the July cover of Playboy. She will be getting close to $1 million to show them tig-ol' bitties. That's probably more than what she got for those Black Tail flicks she took in 1990.

Eminem will host the largest Hip-Hop Summit ever held in the city of Detroit next Saturday (April 26), along with Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, the Detroit branch of the NAACP and radio station FM 98 WJLB.

"For me, Detroit symbolizes hip-hop in a lot of different ways," Eminem said. "Everybody who's been involved in Detroit hip-hop culture here has spent years trying to bring light to the city the same way Russell worked to bring hiphop to the attention of the world. And the same way the Mayor is working to put Detroit back in the spotlight. It's the struggle to be heard and to be recognized. It's our time, both hip-hop's and Detroit's."

Simmons announced today that the HSAN will co-sponsor the Summit, which will be held at Detroit's Cobo Arena, which will hold 13,000 patrons. The Summit will be free to the public on a first come, first serve basis.

Participants include Shady Records President Paul Rosenberg, Slum Village, Def Jam President Kevin Liles, Redman, Method Man, Cam'ron and the Diplomats, Keith Murray, Capone-N-Noreaga, the DOC, Doug E. Fresh and others.

The theme of the Detroit's Summit will be "Remix: Rebuilding...Refocusing...Reinvesting...Resurgence." The primary focus is utilizing hip-hop for youth empowerment.

Economic, political, social impact and strategies for youth empowerment will all be discussed.

The Summit is being held in conjunction with the Detroit branch of NAACP's Freedom Weekend. During the weekend, Simmons will be honored by the NAACP with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his work with youth.

"Our commitment is to help empower the youth of today, who are the most gifted and talented generation of young people that we've ever been blessed to have," Simmons said. "Assembling in Detroit, amidst its rebirth under a dynamic, young 32 year old hip-hop Mayor, is a great tribute to the power of hip-hop," asserted Russell Simmons.

General information on the Detroit Hip-Hop Summit can be obtained by going to www.hiphopsummitactionnetwork.org .

On April 26, on site registration for the Detroit Hip-Hop Summit will be from 8-10a.m. at Cobo Arena, located at One Washington Blvd,. Detroit, Michigan.

Project Islamic H.O.P.E. has called for “an immediate verbal and physical cease fire” between Ja Rule & 50 Cent. Adisa Banjoko of H.O.P.E. has said, “Looking at the events that has transpired with Murder Inc. and Aftermath/Shady camps, as well as the recent drive by on Snoop Dogg, by unknown assailants, Project Islamic H.O.P.E. is asking that all parties please stop recording hateful records against anyone. Project Islamic H.O.P.E. is also asking that they refrain from any kind of physical retaliation against one another. We offer ourselves as instruments of peace to everyone involved. We hope to achieve peace and safety for these brothers personally, as well as motivate the younger people in the Hip Hop community to embrace life giving attitudes and personal practices.”

It certainly did not take the Shady camp long to respond to the latest dis from Ja Rule and Murder Inc. Just a few days after Em and 50 teamed with Busta Rhymes on the “Hail Mary” track, the latest Green Lantern Invasion mixtape has hit the streets and the net.

The majority of the album is dedicated to Shady Records’ enemies. After Ja involved Hailie in his insults to Em, Hailie actually got in the booth to ask her Dad if Ja is taller than her. To which Slim tells her, “No honey, you guys are the same size.”

The album is almost exclusively Shady Records material, aside from a few tracks featuring Jay-Z, Fat Joe and Rah Digga. The majority of the material is exclusive, especially the Tony Yayo freestyle straight from Riker’s.
