Brooklyn rapper Foxy Brown shouldn't be driving in New York at all, but the unlicensed rapper has tallied up some 16 traffic violations over the past three years.
According to New York's Daily News, DMV officials say Fox Boogie (real name is Inga Marchand) owes New York State $4,780 in fines and surcharges, having drawn citations for running red lights, crossing lanes of traffic without a signal and operating without a license, inspection or insurance.
Officials at that Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) say Foxy has only a learner's permit in New York after her right to get a license was revoked for failing to answer traffic tickets.
"She has to answer all these different summonses before she's allowed to drive," DMV spokesman Ken Brown told the Daily News.
The New Jersey license that Foxy received in 2003 has been suspended since March '06 for failing to appear on a summons, New Jersey DMV officials said. Since that suspension, she has received three moving violations. Foxy was also charged with driving without a license in 2000 when she drove her Range Rover into a fence near Flatbush Avenue in downtown Brooklyn.
As SOHH previously reported, Brown is currently on 3 year's probation for a fight she had at the Chelsea Bloomie's nail salon in August '04. More recently she received 2 misdemeanor charges for putting her hands on a beauty store owner in Florida last month.

Snoop Dogg was arrested in Sweden early March 12 on suspicion of using illegal narcotics.
According to the Associated Press, Snoop, who had wrapped up a performance at the Globe Arena in Stockholm, was pulled over by police in a car he was riding in with an unidentified female. Authorities claim the Los Angeles bred rapper and the woman showed signs of drug use. A small amount of narcotics was also found in the car, but reports did not specify what type. Police are unclear if the drugs belonged to Snoop.
"He was arrested for use of narcotics. It's illegal in Sweden to use them, even to have it in your system," said Ostermalm Duty Sergeant Mats Brannlund. "You can see that a person indicates that he has used narcotics in looking at his eyes or his movements. (Police) suspected that he had taken drugs."
Snoop and the woman were detained at 1:25 a.m. and released nearly four hours later. During their detainment police questioned the pair and took body samples from them for laboratory testing. The results are due in two to three weeks and the rapper could face a fine if the tests confirm drug use.
"Such fines are means-tested and if he earns a lot, it can be a couple of thousand [Swedish crowns] ( around $280)," Brannlund explained.
Snoop is currently on a major European tour with Sean "Diddy" Combs.

Busta Rhymes was recently absent from a movie set he was scheduled to appear in after safety concerns were raised by the NYPD.
According to Newsday reports, Busta (born Trevor Smith), who is a cast member of the crime drama "Order of Redemption" which began shooting last week in midtown Manhattan, was not a part of the first day of production. The police department has yet to give any insight or explanation as to the specific nature of the safety concerns. Though the production company shooting the film has been confirmed as having all of the necessary permits, Julianne Cho, associate commissioner with the Mayor's Office of Film, Theatre & Broadcasting, has also confirmed that shooting for the film had in fact started, and that Busta was not present.
"The production agreed that Busta Rhymes would not be participating in the scenes shot here after the Police Department raised public safety concerns," Cho said in a statement.
The film will continue to shoot in New York City for 14 additional, non consecutive days up until early April. The situation is causing speculation that the NYPD may be retaliating against Rhymes for not cooperating with the investigation into the shooting death of Rhymes' bodyguard Isreal Ramirez early last year. Police have openly expressed disappointment with Rhymes' decision to not cooperate.
"This is tremendously unfair to Busta, who has been nothing but professional during this project," director Jeff Celentano said in a statement released through his publicist. "This is a bigger loss for the city of New York."
