The Game's sophomore album The Doctor's Advocate has been pushed back to a late summer release.
The album was initially slated to hit stores June 6. According to Interscope representatives, a new release date has yet to be set. The Doctor's Advocate will feature production by Dr. Dre, Just Blaze, Scott Storch, Kanye West and Timbaland.
"My second album is the highest anticipated record coming out this year and I've been spending long hours in the studio to make sure it a classic," Game said in a statement. "Look out for my masterpiece late summer."
Game's debut, The Documentary, sold over 2 million copies in the U.S. and received multiple award nominations. 50 Cent, who executive-produced The Documentary and co-wrote several songs on it, will not be involved in the project.

Mobb Deep's recent album release party turned violent when protégé 40 Glocc knocked a fan out onstage at New York's Roxy nightclub.
Sources close to the group told SOHH that an unidentified man snuck past security and hoped onstage as Mobb was performing. Word is the man refused to leave the stage and became menacing, prompting 40 Glocc to punch him. The rapper wasn't charged in the incident.
40 Glocc's rep could not be reached for comment.
Meanwhile, authorities had reportedly been waiting outside Roxy to arrest Prodigy on a warrant. On his G-unit Radio show, DJ Whoo Kid recently said that the warrant was for failing to appear at a previous court date.
In related news, Mobb released Blood Money on G-Unit Records on May 2. The group recently signed 40 Glocc to their Purfek Storm Entertainment.
