With media outlets falsely reporting backlash on Kanye West since his Bush bashing, Usher has released a statement denying that he dissed the super producer.a
Last week, media outlets reported that Usher deemed West's "George Bush doesn't care about Black people" comment, inappropriate.
According to false reports, Usher allegedly said, "I wasn't mad at Kanye's statement. That's his opinion, but it's obviously not the opportunity or the time to poke fun or appoint blame. This is an opportunity where we all need to come together - musicians, actors, politicians - and help the (American) Gulf region."
However, in a statement just released through the singer's representative, Usher dismissed the reports as rumors.
"Contrary to false media reports, I support the personal opinions made by my friend Kanye West. If it wasn't for his comments, there would not be an open dialogue about the underserved people in the Gulf Region. Our country is in a state of emergency - instead of the media trying to turn celebrities against one another - we should all come together as one and support the victims of this devastating tragedy. Let's all be a blessing to those in need," stated Usher.
Meanwhile, other media outlets claimed that the Louis Vutton Don was "lustily booed" during his performance at the NFL (National Football League) Opening Kick Off. The set took place at Los Angeles' Coliseum, but was also shown in Foxboro, Massachusetts' Gillette Stadium where the New England Patriots and the Oakland Raiders were kicking off the new football season.

A California judge has frozen the assets of Marion"Suge" Knight in a verdict that benefits imprisoned drug dealer Michael Harris, who wants half of a $107 million court award handed to his wife for helping to launch Death Row Records.
The decision was made just 24 hours after Knight was shot in Miami at a party thrown by Kanye West. On Aug. 28th, Suge was at the Shore Club when he was shot in the leg at approximately 1am. Since that time the CEO has been released from the hospital.
In March, a Los Angeles judge ordered Suge, Death Row Records and Tha Row Inc. to pay Harris' wife - Lydia Harris $107 million, $45 million in economic damages, $2 million in non-economic damages and $60 million in punitive damages.
Lydia contends she helped start Death Row Records and was owed profits from the imprint. The ruling was made after the judge concluded that Knight and his lawyers didn't answers questions and failed to offer information in the case. The case never reached trial.
Meanwhile, Harris, a convicted drug dealer presently serving a 28-year sentence at San Quentin State, claims he deserves half of his wife's award. Micheal Harris claims he contributed $1.5 million from behind bars to help fund the label back in 1991. Knight has long denied Harris' claims. According to Harris' attorney Steven M. Goldberg, he filed for divorce from his wife after uncovering that she had been negotiating to settle with Knight.
"She was trying to settle separately and cut him off the $107 million award," said Goldberg.
Goldberg added that Harris filed for divorce to stop the alleged settlement. By making Knight a party in the divorce, the judge prevents the mogul from "disposing or transferring his assets away."
