DMX’s driving woes continue, as the rapper was arrested last night, after he was involved in a three-car collision involving a police cruiser Friday (April 15th).
The multi-platinum rapper was driving on the Major Deegan Expressway in the Bronx, when he hit a car, which rammed a police crusier.
DMX, born Earl Simmons, was charged with driving with a suspended license and released. The driver of the car DMX initially struck was treated for minor injuries and released.
DMX’s driving record has been less than stellar over the years.
In December of 2004, he was arrested and charged with various driving violations, after police clocked him driving over 100 mph in a 65 mph speed zone.
DMX’s license had already been suspended due to an altercation earlier this year at Kennedy Airport in Queens.
In that driving incident, DMX and another man allegedly fought over a parking space. DMX turned on flashing lights in his SUV and chased the man through the parking lot, crashing through a toll booth.
Earlier in the week, DMX had reached an agreement with officials in relation to the JFK incident. He received a suspended license, a fine and forfeiture of his Ford Expedition.

OutKast and Rosa Parks have finally settled a longstanding lawsuit stemming from Park's objection to the rap duo using her name in a song title.
While OutKast, Sony BMG Music Entertainment and two of the company's units admitted no unlawful activity, the parties have agreed to work on projects "to enlighten today's youth about the significant role Rosa Parks played in making America a better place for all races," said Parks' guardian Dennis Archer in a statement.
Under the settlement, OutKast and the other defendants arranged to develop educational programs about Parks' life and legacy with the Rosa and Raymond Parks Institute for Self Development.
The programs will be distributed through DVD to public schools nationwide. OutKast will also appear on a tribute CD produced by Sony BMG.
"We think it will go a long way towards teaching a new generation about Rosa Parks and her accomplishments," Sony BMG attorney Joe Beck told the Associated Press. "We appreciate Mrs. Parks' and her attorneys' acknowledgment of the First Amendment in protecting artistic freedom."
When Parks, now 92, refused to surrender her seat to a white man on a city bus in Montgomery , Alabama in 1955, her arrest set off a historic civil rights movement that included a 381-day boycott of the bus system, orchestrated by the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.
Parks has been diagnosed with dementia since at least 2002.
Several of her relatives opposed the lawsuit, stating that Parks would not have disapproved of the song called "Rosa Parks" if she had not been mentally impaired.
Parks filed the suit against Outkast in 1999 claiming defamation and trademark infringement for using her name without consent.
A judge later released OutKast from the lawsuit.
Parks' lawyers filed a second suit in August 2004 against BMG, Arista Records LLC and LaFace Records, seeking more than $5 billion.

Warner Music has purchased a 50% share in Bad Boy records, the label which was founded by hip hop star Sean "P Diddy" Combs in 1994. The deal is estimated to be worth around $30m.
Combs will remain the label's head, but Warner is set to gain joint control over Bad Boy's catalogue - including the musician's own recordings. Combs resumed full control of the label three years ago when he ended a deal with Arista Records.
In 2003, Combs put the value of the music company at $100m.
Other recordings owned by the label include three albums by late rapper Notorious B.I.G.
Bad Boy's current roster of artists includes Mario Winans and Boys N Da Hood.
The company, which will remain in its New York base, is the leading component of the Bad Boy Worldwide Entertainment Group, which represents Combs' other interests, including TV and film production.
The musician also has stakes in clothing, restaurants and managing other performers. He has also produced early works by Mariah Carey, Mary J Blige and former girlfriend Jennifer Lopez.
Warner Music's artists include Green Day, Madonna and the back catalogues of Frank Sinatra and Led Zeppelin.
The company was bought out last year by an investor group led by Bronfman for an estimated $2.6bn.
