Black Rob was arrested yesterday after video footage allegedly pictured him entering another person's hotel room on New York's Upper West Side.

According to police, the surveillance tape allegedly shows Rob sneaking into a woman's room at the On The Ave Hotel's 12th floor and coming out with a purse moments later. Security reviewed the footage after a Maryland cardiologist, Renu Vermani, reported that $6,000 in jewelry and $300 in cash was missing from her room.

The cardiologist told authorities that she was asleep in her room and then later noticed that her belongings had vanished when she woke up.

Police caught up to Rob at 11:30 a.m., roughly 7 hours and a half after the theft took place, but the rapper didn`t have the jewelry on him. Police then convinced him to call his accomplice, Damien Ashmeade into the 20th Precinct.

Black Rob spent time in jail in 2000 on charges of third degree criminal possession of a weapon and violating his probation. A warrant was issued for Rob's arrest after he failed to show up for a court appearance stemming from an incident in which undercover officers saw him pass a gun to an associate.

A court date has been set for Young Buck in relation to the brawl that took place at the Vibe Awards last week.

23 year-old David "Young Buck" Brown turned himself into Santa Monica, California police late this past Friday. The G-Unit soldier was arrested on one count of attempted murder and one count of assault with a deadly weapon.

Buck is scheduled to appear in court on December 20th and is presently free on $500,000 bail.

Buck's problems stemmed from a brawl that took place at the Vibe Awards ceremony moments before Snoop Dogg and Quincy Jones were to honor Dr. Dre with a lifetime achievement award. Buck is accused of stabbing Jimmy James Johnson, who approached Dre seemingly requesting an autograph, before sucker punching the super producer in the face.

Police have acquired video footage from the melee which appears to show Buck holding a knife. However, they are also looking for two other men who may have also been carrying weapons.

This incident puts a damper on Buck's tour schedule in promotion of his album, Straight Outta Cashville. Buck was scheduled to perform in Florida and South Carolina in the coming days, however, it is not clear whether he will be able to continue his tour.

After a two year absence, Freddie Foxxx is returning with his third solo LP, American Black Man scheduled to drop next year.

After relying on mostly unknown producers on his previous, The Konexion, Bumpy Knuckles is once again collaborating with the underground`s finest, including DJ Premier, Pete Rock and The Alchemist. The album will include a song entitled "Trying To Make It Through" featuring Tupac Shakur and Ray Benzino. The track was recorded in the early 90s when Pac was still alive and was recently leaked onto the internet. Other songs, including Bumpy`s own version of Jadakiss' "Why" and songs produced by Primo, Pete Rock and Kevin Brown have also been leaked recently.

Bumpy`s solo debut was released on Landspeed Records and its follow up dropped on BBE. There`s no word on what label American Black Man will be released.

Freddie Foxxx`s American Black Man is scheduled to hit stores in early 2005.

Sean “P. Diddy” Combs' latest design debuted last week, as the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks displayed their new uniforms during a game versus the New York Knicks, Friday (November 19).

The Mavericks will sport the alternate uniforms designed by Diddy in 10 other appearances—once more at a home game and nine times on the road—mostly in major-market cities.

The silver uniforms of last year were discarded after only one game, versus the Los Angeles Lakers.

Combs befriended Mavericks owner Mark Cuban two years ago and in December of 2003, the green light was given for Combs to handle the new look of the alternate uniforms.

"At least they don't look like astronaut uniforms this year," said one fan of the Dallas Mavericks. Others were quite pleased with the uniform's look.

"I like it a lot, especially that it says 'Mavs,'" said another satisfied fan, who paid attention to the details of the design. “Having 'Dallas' on both jerseys is kinda lame, and the 'Mavericks' on last year's alternates was too cramped."

Even Mavericks Head Coach Don Nelson liked Diddy's design, saying “The more I looked at it, the better it got.”

The Mavericks beat the New York Knicks that evening, 103-101.

The uniforms do not bear the Sean John logo, due to the NBA's exclusive licensing deal with apparel giant Reebok.

Kanye West, expressing his fondness of John Mayer's songwriting, has apparently collaborated with the singer for his next album. At the recent American Music Awards, Mayer said he had just finished working with West in the studio. The two artists kept quiet on further details, but said the collaboration will probably appear on West's next album titled Late Registration, nearly complete and due out next spring. West said he loved Mayer's voice and compared him to legendary Doobie Brothers singer Michael McDonald.
