Earlier this week, Un Rivera appeared on Hot 97's morning show to speak on his 1999 altercation with Jay-Z. Nearly 5 years after the incident, Un revealed the whole incident was staged to generate hype for Jigga's Life And Times Of S. Carter Volume 3 LP. In 1999, Un was willing to cooperate, but eventually grew less helpful once the $86 million case was settled out of court for less than $1 million. According to court papers, Un stated "he would either disappear at the time of the trial or testify in a way that would help his friend."
