Eminem and pop singer Dido are reportedly engaged in a legal battle over royalties for The Marshall Mathers LP's smash hit, "Stan."
Though reports have just surfaced, sources say the two parties have been battling over money for 4 years. Dido is reportedly seeking $1.8 million dollars for the use of her vocals on the track.
"'Stan' was a massive hit and Dido wants to be paid for the part she played in it all," sources told the British Magazine. "Eminem is in discussions with her, but it's only fair that she's paid for her work and efforts."
"Stan's" hook samples Dido's vocals from the song "Thank You." The British singer went on to sell over 12 million records worldwide following the success of "Stan."
