At 3 p.m 07/01/2003., Rose Kogeman, an attorney for Suge Knight, and Minister Tony Mohammad, the western regional director of the Nation of Islam, will hold a news conference to tell ``the real story'' behind Knight's parole violation arrest, contact says. Men's Central Jail, 441 Bauchet St., Los Angeles.
This comes in the twilight of Suge's arrest where he was charged to violating his parole by assaulting a parking valet earlier this week. Knight's Death Row Records is currently in it's rebuilding stage, though without it's notorious CEO it would seem as an even harder struggle for the one time dominant record company.

DMX wants the promoters of the St. Kitts Music Festival to formally apologize for arresting him on obscenity charges. And if they don't, his manager says he may consider taking legal action.
The rapper was arrested Saturday morning for using foul language onstage, though he claims that he had permission to get profane as long as the dirty words were said in the context of a song and he's got a videotape to prove it.
Basically, it was understood by DMX that if the lyrics contained profanity, it was allowed. What wasn't allowed was DMX's use of swear words in any kind of banter with the audience. Concert organizers claim DMX signed a contract to that effect, though his manager said the written agreement didn't go into detail about the foul language. That stipulation was only expressed to X verbally, his manager said.
DMX's manager wants the St. Kitts Music Festival organizers to apologize to DMX and issue a formal apology to the press. If they don't, he warned, he'll consider taking legal action.

A former business partner is suing Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, claiming the rapper threatened him with a baseball bat in 1996 and cheated him out of $25 million.
Kirk Burrowes says Combs used the bat threat to force him to sign over a 25% stake in Bad Boy Entertainment, Combs' music conglomerate. Burrowes claims he was wrongly fired as president of the company.
"Kirk just wants Sean to realize the value he had in making Sean what he is today and to do the right thing," John Bostany, Burrowes' lawyer, told the New York Daily News. A spokesperson for Combs said the $25 million lawsuit was an "absolute fantasy" and that Burrowes was simply a fired employee looking to cash in.
The suit, filed in Manhattan federal court, also names Bad Boy Entertainment and Kenneth Meiselas, a lawyer for the conglomerate, as defendants.

"The allegations are pure fantasy," Combs told AllHipHop.com. "Kirk Burrowes hasn't been employed (with Bad Boy) for seven years and now he makes up a fictional story for financial gain."
The civil racketeering suit, which was filed in Manhattan Federal Court, named Combs, Bad Boy Entertainment and Kenneth Meiselas, an attorney for Bad Boy and claims that Combs never followed through on a profit sharing agreement.
The lawsuit also claims that Burrowes was "improperly fired" and that Combs thwarted his management deal with Mary J. Blige.
"He should be ashamed of himself," Combs said.
