Slum Village is preparing to release their latest album Volume 3 in August on Capitol Records and will head out on the Beats For Peace tour in May with Pharoahe Monch and Medusa.

T3 described the upcoming album stating, "This is a whole new Slum Village…a new sound…we're breaking down what we're really about…I think we've been misunderstood a lot."

Volume 3 will also include production and rapping from former Slum Village member Jay Dee and a collaboration with Outkast. With plans to leak a few tracks to Detroit radio this month, T3 added, "We got a joint called "Let's Go," [it] names different Detroit streets and how we came up in the D…it's a closer look at where Slum Village is from and how me, Baatin, and Elzhi have evolved."
