Solo debuts from Outkast's Big Boi (Stereobox) and Andre 3000 (Love Hater) will be released May 27, 2003 as a boxed set and as seperate cd's. There is no definitive release date for the singles, Church from Big Boi and Prototype from Andre.

In a multitude of old school reunions, Black Sheep is expected to release an as-yet-untitled project this summer. There are also rumors of a Tribe Called Quest, Slum Village (w/Jay Dee) and Main Source. On the other-hand, the rumored Pete Rock & CL Smooth reunion will not happen. According to Pete Rock & CL Smooth, they are done and not revisiting the subject.

In beef news, D-12 has recorded a Royce 5'9 diss. Royce, in turn, has recorded a freestyle dissing D-12. Royce was careful to say that his beef is specifically with D-12, and not necessarily with Eminem or Proof. Pacewon of the once friends of Eminem, The Outsidaz, has recorded a freestyle dissin' Eminem for turning his back on many of his former underground homies following rise to super stardom.
