The release of WHITNEY HOUSTON's long-delayed new album has been shelved, along with a new concert to promote it.The singer's JUST WHITNEY CD was originally set for release December 3 and was then rescheduled to December 8, but the troubled singer's album is now not likely to be released until the new year while the special TV concert, scheduled for 10 December, has been entirely scrapped. The singer was supposed to perform in New York's Times Square as part of American morning show GOOD MORNING AMERICA.

Whitney's new album has been riddled with recording problems and her comeback single WHATCHULOOKINAT was a chart flop.
