Up & coming record label Babygrande is making alittle bit of noise recently signing Canibus to a single, one project deal to release a concept album entitled Rip the Jack. They've also recently signed a deal to release the Mountain Brothers new album Triple Crown later this year.

Swizz Beatz’ Ghetto Stories which was supposed to be released at the start of the summer has undergone more delays and pushbacks, but he is having the LP re-mastered with an additional track, “Bigger Business” f/P.Diddy, Snoop and Jadakiss (which will also serve as the LP’s new single). Ghetto Stories is now slated to drop on 12-10-02.

Also, Skillz (formally Mad Skillz) album I Aint Mad No More has been pushed back until 10-15-02.

Word is that Eminem is releasing a mix show only white-label where he is freestyling over Tupac’s “Hail Mary” instrumental. In other Aftermath news, keep an ear out for a new female Dre is working with called Brooklyn.... Word is she's on some Nelly Furtado shit.. Look for Brooklyn’s debut to drop in Jan 2003, right after 50 Cent. However, with the recent word of Dre being sued for 500 million dollars (makes Dr. Evil face) by the same India company that sued him over the uncleared Truth Hurts sample that was used on “Addictive”, will there even be an Aftermath?
